"Bilateral Stimulation" is the fourth release in our Mental Health Audio Series. This is a five-track, forty-five minute album of meditative rhythms and instrumental music, slowly panning back and forth from left to right, a technique designed specifically for use by EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) clients, to help you to relax, relieve stress, lower pain levels and more.

Bilateral Stimulation is a process in which someone uses visual, auditory, or tactile stimuli in a rhythmic side-to-side pattern. This stimulation has been shown to help: - Relax and decrease physiological excitement - Increase your ability to open your mind and become less focused on a particular stressor. - Create a sense of distance between you and whatever problems you are having so you are most likely to relax and get some rest. - Relieve you of your worries for the present time.

We highly recommend headphones to enjoy all of the many benefits of enhanced neurological activation and rhythms swaying between the left and right channels.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Although bilateral stimulation is a very safe and relaxing methodology for most people, because it is a direct sensory stimulation of the nervous system, there are some conditions for which it is NOT appropriate to use. These conditions---such as brain injuries, migraine sufferers, complex PTSD, and dissociative identity disorder often result in hypersensitivity to sensory stimuli. Therefore, it is critical if you suffer from any of these conditions to consult with your personal health-care physician before using any bilateral content.
